Theatre SKAM strives to maintain a solid reputation as a creator of award-winning, innovative, site-specific work and intimate, elegant theatre. As a creation-based company, all of our shows are new work developed through a proven iterative process. We seek to blur the line between artistic mediums and create work representing the best of the West Coast. We play a pivotal role in the cultural life

of our region and are recognized by peers across the country for our contribution to national networks and our commitment to developing new work. We serve communities of artists and attract audiences who crave remarkable experiences in unique environments. Theatre SKAM creates innovative theatre and live events in Victoria and on tour. We support the professional careers of a wide range of artists, with a focus on Victoria-based artists and especially emerging artists. We strive to invigorate the communities we serve while centring our six core values in everything we do: Accessible, Curious, Equitable, Minimal Waste, Sustainable, Transparent. Mission:

Rebel Rhythm is a wordless theatrical work set in a world between life and death. A pulse-driven experience where music, movement, and identity collide, it unfolds through physical storytelling, mask, puppetry, and rhythm.

Happy World Theatre Day SKAMmers! We are honoured to get to produce and share theatre with you all year-round.

Some facts from our friends at regarding Canadian Theatre’s Impact:
