Hello everybody long long time no post and after a long hiatus feeling like getting this page more current and actively relevant again.
To start off with wanted to let everyone know Dubversified culture has managed to book some epic acts in the drum and bass scene for tomorrow Sept 29th at Upstairs in Vic.
Monty and Two Swords, one of the members of hyrogliphics! It's gunna be legit night and highly recommend being there!

Does anyone remember our last show before lockdown when Sivz graced the stage? It feels correct that our good friends Dubversified Culture are bringing her back to Victoria and continuing our epic house music event legacy! Word on the street is that pre-sales are 80% sold out, and there’s limited tickets at the door. You really don’t want to miss this event! We’ll see you on the dance floor 💃 😘

💜 Our 5th Anniversary Showcase is TONIGHT! We look forward to seeing you at our inclusive and immersive event for an experience of soundsystem culture (powered by Void), stunning art and visuals, great energy, and immaculate vibes. Be sure to get your tickets before they're gone: online sales end at 6pm - door tickets are $25 or $15 for students (with valid ID).
We also understand that many in our community are experiencing financial hardships. If you are low-income, please reach out to us directly by 6pm for a promo code - we've reserved a limited number of low-income tickets to ensure that cost isn't a barrier to attendance (we trust you and do not require proof of income).

With a heavy heart we are announcing the closure of our studio space in Victoria, BC. Our goal has always been to provide accessible and inclusive spaces for artists and musicians, but unfortunately our business model is no longer sustainable due to the impact of Covid-19 on our revenue and changes to the facilities quiet hours.
It has been an incredible 5 years at Submersive Studios and we would like to thank all of our members, tenants, musicians and artists for co-creating the space with us. We would also like to thank our Board of Directors, Coordinators and Volunteers for all of their hard work in making this dream a reality. Due to your energy, ideas and entrepreneurship we have successfully hosted 25+ events, housed 40+ tenants, and have 140 members of our Submersive community.
Although this chapter has come to a close, we are hopeful for a future where we can come together again over a shared love and appreciation for music, art and community connection. Until then, we hope you are staying healthy, safe, and continue creating. Sending all of you love and care during these challenging times.

Submersive Tribe is devoted to empowering a community of bright minded, enthusiastic original art and music-lovers driven to collaborate and produce new sounds on local, international and digital stages. Submersive Tribe is all about you, your style, your sound and supporting you in discovering the peers and mentors that will get you to where you need to be. We buy and curate talent, collaborate to support multi-media productions, provide sound and event planning solutions throughout BC.
While ‘Submersive Tribe’ focuses on event production and programming, it should be mentioned that our headquarters serve as an office, rehearsal, and workshop space, and 24/7 artist lounge and workspace. Our studio is home to 20 resident artists at any given time and we accept applications for our sound treated studio rooms year round.
