Rotten Apple Ruckus tickled their strings for so long that they were kicked out of the farmhouse. They started hooting and yelling in the streets and farmers markets around Victoria B.C. until they were put upon a stage. They were shoved into an old van and thrown all over Cascadia. If you have dirty eardrums, they will use their bucket bass and washboard to scrub them clean with a wash of sounds from the 20’s-40’s.

Reminisce 1928 with a night of live swing jazz, classic cocktails, and swing dancing. We have The Capital City Syncopators to swing the night away with Calvin Cairns playing at the band break. There will be a beginner dance lesson at 8PM with the live jazz set starting at 8:30PM. Dress in your favorite greens or rainbow rags and celebrate in true St. Patrick's Day style at the Victoria Event Centre.

Kate Romain combines professional, whimsical accordion playing with kazoo-horns, foot-percussion and vocal sound tricks to create an engaging, fun one-person act enjoyed by any age. Expect an eclectic mix of European folk-dance tunes, honky-old American folk sing-alongs and originals.

Mitchell Green's Swing Machine performs music inspired by the great Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. Consisting of Mitchell Green and Stuart Munro on guitar, Nick Mintenko on upright bass/vocals, Mathew Menard on violin and Jeff Poynter on clarinet. The Mitchell Green's Swing Machine has performed at the Northern Quarter, Victoria Speakeasy, Vista 18. The Owl Designer Fair, Heron Rock Bistro and the James Bay Market.
