"...we're not doing this to attack our dads. There's a lot that comes from a place of hurt, but never a place of vindictive anger, or malice. We're not doing a revenge show. We're doing this because I've never had someone say it was okay to talk about this. No one's ever even me the space to do that without slapping me with the 'daddy issues' label. If that's what we get for talking about our dads then let's do a fu***ng show about it and slap the label on ourselves...and explore something that is much more intelligent and tongue-in-cheek and sad and thought provoking than you imagined it being."
