Matriarch Camp Food and Supplies This page was created to help with organizing food donations and reduce food waste for the Matriarch Camp, situated now on unceded WSANEC territories.

The purpose of this page is to provide a medium for organizing food donations to the Matriarch Camp which was originally situated outside John Horgan's office in unceded Lekwungen territories for over a month before relocating outside the DFO office at 4250 Commerce Way in WSANEC territories. inging said items to the camp (particularly food) if possible. The women at the camp are incredibly grateful for all the support especially the meals and snacks that have been offered. However, they have also voiced that there has been increasing abundance and they are concerned about food waste, as well as cultural obligations to eat what is brought even when tummies are already full.
