Some performers leave a lasting impression wherever they take the stage.

Today, we’re welcoming back Kholby Wardell, a familiar face to Blue Bridge audiences and an internationally recognized performer.

Kholby has brought unforgettable characters to life across the stage, including the role of Noel Gruber in the internationally celebrated musical Ride the Cyclone. He has also appeared with Blue Bridge in productions including My Fair Lady, Little Shop of Horrors, and Sweeney Todd.

This summer, Kholby returns to the Blue Bridge stage for Summer Crush: A Century of Song, bringing his powerful voice and signature performance style to a celebration of the songs that have shaped generations.

Today, we’re introducing two more members of the Summer Crush: A Century of Song company who bring a unique blend of heart, humour, and creativity to this celebration of music.

🎭 Kelly Hobson is a familiar and beloved face at Blue Bridge, having delighted audiences in recent productions including The Wind in the Willows and Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune. With her warmth, comedic talent, and love of performance, Kelly brings a special energy to every role she takes on.

🎭 Jacob Richmond is an acclaimed writer, director, composer, and performer whose creative work has reached audiences around the world as the co-creator of the internationally celebrated musical Ride the Cyclone. His artistry and experience add another exciting dimension to this unforgettable concert experience.

Together with the full Summer Crush company, Kelly and Jacob will celebrate the songs that have defined generations and created memories that last a lifetime.

Every great story begins as someone else’s. Yet a stranger stepping onto a stage can, within moments, make it feel familiar.

Across centuries, circumstances, and lives unlike our own, we recognize something of ourselves:

The desire to be seen.

To be understood.

The way we want to be remembered.

Not because we all share the same story. But because we share what it means to be human as they reveal a life lived parallel to our own.

And when we recognize ourselves in another, vulnerability also gives way to connection, our reminder that we are never alone. 💕✨🫶
