A Closing Chapter for ArtisTREE Festival
After much reflection and a year of dedicated effort to explore every possible path forward, we are sharing the news that ArtisTREE Festival will not move ahead as a large-scale festival in 2027.
This decision has not been made lightly.
Over the past year, we pursued every avenue available to us—including sponsorships, grants, donors, benefactors, and community partnerships—to secure the funding needed to responsibly produce ArtisTREE at the scale it had become.
There has been tremendous belief in the vision and incredible enthusiasm for the festival. However, despite these efforts, only a very small portion of the funding required was secured. Without the financial foundation needed to move forward responsibly, the risk of launching another large-scale festival was simply too great.
So, with gratitude, we have chosen to celebrate the extraordinary experience and journey of ArtisTREE.
In 2024 and 2025, the gardens of Government House came alive with creativity, nature, music, art, craft, discovery, connection and magic.
Artists and makers shared their work. Musicians filled the gardens with energy. People of all ages danced. Families discovered the joy of imagination. Thousands of people came together and experienced something truly special.
We are deeply proud of what ArtisTREE became and incredibly grateful to everyone who helped bring it to life—our artists, artisans, performers, volunteers, community partners, sponsors, supporters, and every person who walked through the gardens with curiosity and an open heart.
ArtisTREE was a beautiful moment in time. It arrived, blossomed, brought people together, and will forever remain part of our community’s creative story.
While the festival will not continue in its large-scale format at this time, the spirit that inspired ArtisTREE remains.
The ArtisTREE Festival Society will continue to celebrate creativity, support the arts, and explore thoughtful possibilities for nurturing connection and creativity in our community.
