It’s time for another Member Monday highlight 🙂Meet Rhonda Lee Usipiuk! “Rhonda Lee Usipiuk is a mixed media artist living in Victoria, BC. For the 2022 summer season, she focused on two different series (Forest and Botanical), using two different printmaking methods that use the sun (Solar Plate Etching and Cyanotype).” Check out more of Rhonda Lee’s work through the link in our bio🌻

PRINT member Dave Skilling has a new exhibition opening next week . “The Cabin Series is a collection of lino prints created over three summers at Dave Skilling’s lakeside retreat on Quadra Island. The hand-built cabin is accessible only by boat(a red canoe) and without electricity, phone or WiFi.” PRINT recently caught up with Dave in his studio about this exhibition and his process behind creating the prints. “The Cabin Series” opens Sept 23 and runs through Dec 13, 2022.

We have been busy framing and hanging the show .hive.arc this week! Mark your calendars for the opening of “The 1st Seven” this Saturday Aug 20 from 4-6pm. Come learn about this ongoing project supported by , and pick up an original copy of each gallery. We will have framed and unframed galleries available from all seven artists. This beautiful screenprint by is from the fifth issue, and we only have one or two left! 🤩
