getting to know Brayden’s digital media work will be our very last studio visit of the series. Brayden works with monitors, digital sculpture and sound to create environments and scenarios that extend beyond lived experience. We are grateful to have Brayden’s work in our exhibit.

we’ll be speaking of Tori’s work next. Tori works interdisciplinarily to draw a picture of a true sentient being, utilising 2D mediums, sculpture, digital media and performance. We are fortunate to have Tori’s work featured in our show.

to begin (the end), we’ll be featuring Serena Laur. Serena works in drawing, painting, photography and bookmaking to inspect the human experience, feeling, connectivity and narrative. We are thankful to have Serena’s work included in our exhibit.

today’s final ‘install’ of studio visits is with Kimi Moore. Kimi’s intermedial work inspects subjects of power, desire, s*x, kink, labour and more through decisions interrelating medium to concept. We look forward to Kimi’s contributions to the exhibit.

our next featured artist today is Axel Alam. Axel works predominantly in painting and ceramic mediums, exploring the tactility and interplay of mediums and subjects. We cannot wait to see what Axel offers to the exhibit.

as we near the conclusion of our studio visits (and the opening of our exhibit this weekend) we wantes to be certain we feature a couple more of our talented contributors. To begin, we’re introducing Theoren Johannessen. Theoren works with objects to explore narratives of identity, relationships, memory and the sacred nature of assembled material. We look forward to including Theoren’s work in our exhibit.

today’s final studio visit is with Kyndra Burton. Kyndra works with lens-based mediums, performance and wearable installations in intrinsically collaborative capacities; the works festured here introduce collaborations with family and community as credited. Kyndra’s work embodies distinctly symbiotic components through owrformances and concepts that rely upon trust and mutual response. We cannot wait to see Kyndra’s contributions to our exhibit.

our next studio visit of today features the work of Stella McCaig. Stella works in capacities that tenderly bring attention and respect to the innate value of objecthood through found materials and more, predominantly through sculpture. We cannot wait to see what Stella contributes to the exhibit.

today’s studio visits begin with Yingxi Elysian Luo. Elysian is a multimedia artist who works in 2D and 3D capacities to investigate modernity, progress and material culture. We look forward to Elysian’s work being featured in the exhibit.

today’s studio visits conclude with the practice of Jade Mikell. Jade is an interdisciplinary artist + activist, working foremost with paper. working within institutional criticique. Jade use Eurythmy and Anthroposophy to invesitgate the foundation of disability and identity through institutional critique. We look forward to including Jade’s work in our exhibit.

our next studio visit is with Juliana Sech.! Juliana is a q***r multidisciplinary artist working with ideas memory, transparency + healing through iterations of the human body, sensuality and reflection. We cannot wait to have Juliana with us for our show.
