Alam mo yon, there’s always that moment where you have to decide if you’ll stay where it’s safe or take a risk and see what you’re really capable of.

It won’t always make sense, and it won’t always feel comfortable, but growth never comes from staying the same.

So if it scares you, maybe that’s the sign. Take the risk, you’ll either win or learn, but you’ll never stay stuck.

5 real things I learned as a Filipino living in Canada 🇨🇦

1. Family comes first 🤍
Kahit anong busy mo dito, magparamdam ka. Hindi mo namamalayan, sila pa rin yung pinaka strength mo.

2. Hindi lahat ng pautang dapat binibigay 💸
Learn to say no. Kasi pag ikaw ang naubos, wala ring matitira para sa sarili mo.

3. Independence is not a choice, it is a requirement 💪
Dito mo marerealize… kaya mo pala mag isa.

4. Hindi lahat tutulong sayo.
And that is okay. That is life. Minsan, sarili mo lang talaga meron ka, and that is enough.

5. Save. Save. Save. 📈
Walang ibang sasalo sayo kundi ikaw. Habang maaga pa, build your future.

Hi, I’m Mark 👋

Living here in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦 for almost 5 years now.
