EST is a q***r theatre collective created by Sammy Forest, Ella Daly, Danica Charlie, and Emily Duke

Extended Space is a q***r collective created by four friends (Sammy Forest, Ella Daly, Danica Charlie, & Emily Duke) who graduated from the Canadian College of Performing Arts at the beginning of 2021. We never felt represented by the stories, or characters that we were asked to portray, so we decided to create work that reflects who we are. Currently we emphasize specific and purposeful work that

is q***r focused; celebrating and normalizing the q***r existence. Extended Space has created one original work, GRASP, that was presented in the summer of 2021 at Skampede. Currently the collective is developing two new pieces, BIAS, and SHIFT. Extended Space Theatre’s mission is to create interdisciplinary, inclusive, and intersectional physical theatre. Our method prioritizes devised theatre where artists share power and create collaboratively.
