when I carve, it feels like the world disappears. It’s this beautiful meditation. I spent hours and hours carving.
And sometime the peace will break in my hand, or it can crack when deyed, if it makes the first fire at extreme heat, it could crack, explode or (a random thing will happen that makes no sense)
Then you glaze, fire it again with extreme heat, and it can crack, melt it comes out ‘ok’, or come out the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen. Many outcomes between.
You never know what the outcome
You can do everything right
And unexpected things will happen And keep going
Good or bad
Remember, life is a journey
Heart open
And keep going

I’m in love with the bowls. Took me 2 1/2 years, to figure it out to look the image in my head. It’s amazing when you create something that started out in your head. Find the people to enable it.
Every brain surgery things are deleted, and you have to relearn. It’s exhausting and reminding me. If I woke up, it’s because the world needs me.Like me.
And I believe that of you. We need you exactly like you.

I was having a really hard day, feeling that things really suck right now. And then I started making these ceramic straws. And I became so happy making these. Inventing away to fire them and to make them … laughing these really suck and that’s the point.
I don’t know. Reminds us when things suck. Suck it up sunshine.
Yeah, life sucks.
And ceramic straws are very fragile
They can last hundreds of years, or today’s its last day.
It makes me so happy to use them, to make them, and they’re a little bit ridiculous like everyone needs a fish straw, right? Guinness gracious.
