Hey Everyone,
With everything going online this semester, I've collaborated w/ the UBC Poker Club to host a UVIC vs UBC online poker tournament on the 24th of September at 7pm. If anyone is interested in playing, its completely free to join and we'd love to have you, specific instruction on joining are below.

To play in the tournament:
1. Download (the free) PokerStars software at www.pokerstars.com
2. Open the main poker lobby, then click on the ‘Home Games’ tab on the bottom right hand side underneath the ‘Help’ tab (note that you may have to maximize your client window to see Home Games, otherwise, in a minimized window, Home Games will be under ‘More’).
3. Click the ‘Join a Poker Club’ button.
4. Enter my Club ID number: 3676406
5. Enter my Invitation Code: queentenoffsuit. Once I accept you to the club, continue to step 6.
Note: Make sure you register in the tournament between September 10th at 7pm and September 24th at 7pm. Only 20 minutes of late reg at 7pm on the 24th.
6. Click on the ‘Schedule’ tab, next to the ‘Club Home’ and ‘Results’ tab.
7. Click Register
8. Be online and join the tourney at 7pm on Thursday, Sept 24th (Late reg is only 20 min).
IMPORTANT:
The buy-in for the tourney is 20,000 free play chips (the minimum allowed). New accounts typically start with 35k free chips.
If you need more chips, to get them you must click the green “cashier” button in the top right corner of the main PokerStars window, and then under the ‘play money’ tab, click the “collect chips” button. You can add on 15k free chips once every 4 hours.
Please log into PokerStars at least the day before the tournament so I have time to accept you, and so you can make sure you have the chips to play.
