Thank you, everyone, for your interest in purchasing the studio.
I met with my realtor last weekend, and she walked me through everything I need to do to sell the business privately. This week, I spent many hours counting every last ceramic piece—what a job that was!
Many of you have asked for more information, so I've included some additional details below that will hopefully answer your questions:
• The recommended asking price is $100,000.
• I am willing to consider $85,000 for the right person. This studio has been my life for many years, and I would love to see it continue with someone who cares about it as much as I do.
• The ceramic inventory alone is valued at just over $35,000. This does not include the kiln, glazes, or other supplies.
• Store assets are currently valued at approximately $30,190.72, although I am still researching prices for a few remaining items.
• After speaking with the business advisors at WorkBC, they suggested assigning a value of $10,000 to the client list.
• I have already deducted $2,500 from the asking price to cover the cost of glazes, firing unfinished pieces, and any outstanding gift cards that may still be redeemed.
• I am also willing to stay on for a period of time to help with the transition and ensure a smooth handover.

Have a wonderful weekend!
