📅 OCTOBER HOURS UPDATE! 📅

Two exciting changes this month:

🍂 We're now OPEN this Friday & Saturday before Thanksgiving (Oct 9 & 10) from 10–5! Still closed the 11th, 12th, and 13th🧡

🎨 Starting Wednesday, October 21, we're open LATER on weekdays — 10am to 8pm, Wednesday through Friday!

🌙 Thursdays from 5:30–8 are still Adults Only nights! 🍷

Check the calendar for the full month and we'll see you at the studio! 💛

Our October calendar is here! 🍂

We know it's still early, but wanted to give you all a heads up on a couple of schedule changes this month:

⏰ Wednesday, October 7 — we're closing early at 4pm
🦃 Friday Oct 9 – Sunday Oct 11 — we'll be closed for Thanksgiving weekend so we can enjoy some turkey too! 😊

Everything else is running on our regular schedule (see the full calendar above for all our hours, including our Thursday evening adults-only sessions 🎨).

Thanks for understanding, and we can't wait to see you in the studio this month!

To our regulars who keep showing up and making this space feel like home — and to every new face who walked through our doors for the first time — thank you. Watching this little community come together, weekend after weekend, means more than you know. We feel so lucky and so blessed.

We’re sorry 🫣 but… we had to make a change. 😂

We know. We KNOW.

For basically the entire time Mehgan owned the studio, our paint wall was beautifully organized by colour. And now… we’ve switched it to a numeric system. 😅

Before anyone panics, there is a very good reason. 😂

The colours on our paint wall are identified by number, and those numbers are what we write down when you choose your paints. As much as we tried to make the colour system work, we were spending an absolutely unreasonable amount of time staring at the wall trying to figure out “Okay… WHICH colour is number 47 again?” 🤣

We simply aren’t yet as magically talented as Mehgan is at knowing what every single colour and corresponding number is. 🫣😂

So, for our own sanity, we made the decision to switch things around and organize the wall numerically.

We KNOW some of you may not love the change. And honestly, we get it! When something has been a certain way for years, it can be weird to suddenly see it differently. We’re sorry if our little switcheroo has ruffled any feathers. 🥹🫶

BUT — we promise we’re trying to make this as easy as possible!

We have BIG sample colour boards on the way, which should make finding your perfect colour MUCH easier, and we’re also adding some new colours to fill in a few of the gaps. 🎨✨

So please bear with us while we get everything settled. We’re hoping that once the sample boards are here and everyone gets used to the new layout, you’ll forgive us for this little change… and maybe even decide you like it. 😂

Happy Wednesday, everyone!
Just a quick update - the phone number transfer is taking a bit longer than we anticipated, and causing a couple of temporary glitches! We cannot listen to voicemails or make phone calls at the moment. BUT for some reason we are still able to receive phone calls! 😂

For the next couple of days, reaching out to us on messenger might be best!

Well… hello there! 👋🎨❤️
We thought it was probably time to officially introduce ourselves because there are two new faces behind Colour Time Ceramics!

We’re Tammy & Chloe — mother and daughter, friends, creative partners, professional idea-generators 😂 and now, very excitedly, the new owners of Colour Time Ceramics.

And what a first weekend it was!
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome. ❤️ It was SO much fun meeting so many of you, chatting about your projects, seeing what you were creating and getting our first real taste of the wonderful community that already exists around this studio.

To everyone who stopped in, introduced themselves, shared stories about Colour Time, offered advice and encouragement, or simply gave us a big smile and a “welcome” — thank you. You made our first weekend incredibly special.

And an extra thank you for being so patient with us while we learn the ropes, figure out where everything lives and generally get our feet wet! 😂 There’s a lot to learn when you step into an established studio, and everyone has been incredibly kind and gracious while we find our rhythm. We appreciate it more than you know.

For those wondering what happens next, don’t worry — the Colour Time Ceramics you know and love isn’t disappearing. Right now, we’re learning, listening, getting to know all of you and settling into this new adventure together.

Will we eventually have some new ideas?

Ohhhh, probably. 😏😂
Okay... definitely.

We’re two creative people who have spent a LOT of years working together, so naturally the ideas are already bubbling away. But we also want to take our time, listen to you and build on everything that already makes Colour Time such a special place.

You’ll also be seeing a lot more from us here on social media — studio happenings, your amazing creations, new arrivals, inspiration, events, behind-the-scenes shenanigans and probably the occasional ceramic piece that mysteriously follows one of us home. We have a feeling that last one could become a problem. 😂

Mostly, we just want to say thank you for welcoming us so warmly.

We’re excited, we’re learning, we’re probably going to ask a lot of questions, and we already know we’re going to have a whole lot of fun along the way.

We’re so happy to be here. ❤️

It’s time I let you all in on a little secret… ❤️

As of Saturday the 12th, I will no longer be the owner of Colour Time. I have sold my wonderful little place to two very nice ladies, Tammy and Chloe, and I really think you guys are going to like them!

I know there are quite a few of you who were worried that things would change once I was gone, but from the sounds of it, things should stay pretty much the same. I’ll be sticking around for the next month to help introduce you all to Tammy and Chloe, show them the ropes, and make sure the transition goes as smoothly as possible.

My plan was to spend a couple of hours every night after work this past week cleaning and getting everything ready for them… but apparently the flu had other plans for me! 🤒 So, I’ve decided to close on Wednesday so I can get some help and get the majority of it done that day.

I’m going to miss you guys more than I can put into words. You have all been such a huge part of my life for going on 9 years, and Colour Time has been so much more than just a business to me. It’s been the people, the friendships, the laughs, the stories, and all of you who have made it so special. ❤️

I’ve already been told that I have to make regular visits to the studio… otherwise some of you will come looking for me! 😂

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all the love, support, laughs, and memories you’ve given me over the years. I’m so incredibly grateful for every single one of you.

This isn’t goodbye… just a new chapter. ❤️
