Some places stay with you forever.

When I was asked to create this piece for a snowmobiling family, I was instantly taken back to my very first snowmobile adventure in BC with my partner Crispin, he took me to the Ruthoford near Pemberton. Those unforgettable out of this world moments in the backcountry became the inspiration behind Full Throttle.

I wanted to capture more than the mountains I wanted to capture the feeling of freedom, adventure, and those golden hour moments that make BC so unforgettable.

Show Us Your Work! Bike & Hike local art show at Gallery Artiva!

Call for entries now open for artists across the North Okanagan! Gallery Artiva invites creators of all levels to submit 12" x 12" works in any medium inspired by the “Bike and Hike” theme. Submissions are accepted from July 3 to August 6, with the exhibition running August 7–9 2026 at SilverStar Mountain Resort. Visitors can vote for People’s Choice awards, and standout pieces will be featured in the Gallery for the remainder of the summer.
Prizes for Jury’s choice, People’s choice and Most Colourful creation.
