SIGN OF SANCTUARY closes out Day One of Sundog Fest on Friday, September 18th🤘This band can absolutely shred! Learn more about Sign of Sanctuary below ⬇️

From Kelowna, BC, Sign of Sanctuary is a rising teen metalcore band with a sound that blends many different genres together. Meeting in early 2025, Sign of Sanctuary is known for their high-energy shows and heavy breakdowns.

With Noah (17) on vocals/guitar, Ella (17) on bass/backup vocals, and Alex (15) on drums, this trio is musically inspired by influential bands such as Lamb Of God, Evanescence, Lacuna Coil, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Pierce The Veil.

Originally from Toronto but taking the stage as a resident of the beautiful Okanagan-Shuswap region of BC, DJ Miss Demeanour is a trans artist who exemplifies diversity in her life and music. Leaning hard on funky house music with an international flare, Miss D’s artistic sound is all her own and is guaranteed to create a feel-good atmosphere and a celebration of music. A lover of hip-hop, funk, disco, synth-infused 80’s songs and all sounds under the Electronic Dance Music umbrella, Miss Demeanour shares music to provide collective therapy that soothes your soul. A set by Miss Demeanour is one of the best-kept secrets for a seriously good time.

Jodie B is a live-looping indie–folk–hip-hop artist known for her genre-blending sounds and magnetic performances.

From busking on the streets to international festivals, she has shared stages with Dub FX, The Pharcyde, and Method Man & Redman.

A producer and multi-instrumentalist, she has worked with Snotty Nose Rez Kids and co-produced Slug of Atmosphere, strengthening her presence in Canada’s music scene.

She co-owns Frequency Sound 528, a recording studio and café that fosters safe, collaborative, creative spaces. Since joining Danio Management in 2021, Jodie continues to bridge styles and audiences with heartfelt lyricism, intricate production, and captivating live looping.
