Dinosaur painted up. This was a pretty fun piece and it was my first ever dino. 3.5ft tall and over 5ft long. The only addon was the tail. I reinforced the legs and arms with maple dowels to make sure this fella stands up over time.

This commissioned memorial bench was a bit different, it really pulled me back to my cabinetry days with laminating all the boards for the stomp box and back rest. The back rest is a scaled up skate board with the mounting being where the trucks(wheels) would be attached with 4 screws in each. The silhouettes are actual pictures from the customer and the graffiti style name is carved in. It was truly an honor to create this piece in memory of a son gone to soon.

From a log to the finished piece. My reedsport oregon adventure has come to an end. What a great trip. It was awesome to meet some of the people that I only knew in Facebook land lol. I managed to get in the top 10 for quick carves on 3 of the 4 days including 5th on sunday.

Loving how this one turned out. 4ft tall single piece of western red cedar left almost completely natural.

Newest eagle done. Did not overdo the paint, I just used stains so you can see the beautiful cedar.
