Carta Arts Collective is selling pottery at Britannia's Winter Market today (Sunday, Nov. 30) until 4pm.

We are in Gym D, Britannia Community Centre, 1661 Napier Street.

How to find the entrance:

Option 1:
Go to Commercial and Napier, walk West through Napier Plaza towards Vancouver Public Library (VPL) and follow the signs

Option 2:
Go to Grandview Park. At corner of Cotton and William, walk East and follow the signs.

The Roundhouse Community Centre in Yaletown has a Pottery Studio! Their annual winter sale is going to be the fourth weekend in November. Write it on your calendar (Nov. 22 and 23). There will be lots of wonderful, different types of pottery to choose from: mugs and bowls, ornaments, ceramic jewellery and more. It's going to be a great place to shop for gifts.

Eye Spy with my little eye...a whole bunch of hand-made metal robots by Vancouver artist Lynne Fahenstalk at Mount Pleasant Optometry Centre on Broadway (east of Main Street) in Vancouver BC.

For a more local reference, it's east of Kingsgate Mall.

I dropped in for a very thorough eye checkup (I recommend!) and was delighted to see my friend's work on display.
