The whole team at Kindred Theatre Society, are so sorry to hear of Jenifer Darbellay's passing after being tragically killed on Saturday night in Vancouver at the Filipino Lapu Lapu Festival.

Jen was a Kindred Spirit and worked with us a brilliant and creative costume designer for many of our past shows including "Lobby Hero", "Dinner with Friends" and "White Hot". She was a bright light - beautiful inside and out and an incredibly positive force - both in her work and as a person. Jen was also a deeply loving wife and mother.

Noel Johansen her husband (and another long time Kindred Theatre Collaborator)- needs our help. Noel and his 2 kids (7 and 15) are going to need ongoing support. Noel has his own physical injuries from the incident, plus he will need time away from work to be with his children and to heal physically and emotionally.

Please donate and support Noel and his family if you can. Please share widely. Thank you.

Vancouver! The gang at Mitch and Murray highly recommends you check out the play LIFESPAN OF A FACT in its final week! Our pals at Kindred Theatre are laying it all out there and bringing a great American play to town. You cannot get the same buzz from Netflix that you do watching a play. Grab a ticket and engage - you'll be glad you did!

“Director Jennifer Clements’s production of The Lifespan of a Fact is so assured, so physically handsome and well acted...
The actors in this production know exactly what they’re doing.
I was engaged by its wit, its heart, and the many successes of this production.”
Colin Thomas - Fresh Sheet

“Astutely directed by Jennifer Clement, The Lifespan of a FACT prompts us to ask ourselves when does truth matter? How much latitude do we allow?
I liked this play a lot and this production, presented by Kindred Theatre, does terrific work with the material.”
Jo Ledingham.
We have a handful of tickets available for tonight’s show and tomorrow all tickets are $30 for our 2pm matinee.
