When YooRa's passion for music, love for Tom Misch's "Movie", and recent experience of film school come together...
-
When YooRa (Founder, Artistic Producer) asked Carlo (Guitarist, Mix Engineer) back in August 2021 if he wanted to cover Tom Misch's song "Movie" with her, neither of them knew what it would become by the end of the year. What was supposed to be a two person cover of the song, turned into a full band cover with a music video production of 14 crew members. While recording the cover back in August, they realized YooRa's piano was out of tune to the point where Carlo could not "fix it in post". When she called her piano tech, he broke the news to her that his work will have to be a three month project. During this time, YooRa worked on multiple sets as unit manager and 1st AD, and through this experience, she fell in love with the process of filmmaking.

One night while driving home after working on set, an idea for a music video came to her - and that's how this project came to be. She gathered 14 fellow VFS alumni and four of her bandmates that she's been playing music with since middle school. It felt like a miracle to make this video happen in such a short amount of time. We hope you enjoy!

Hello friends!

It's been a long time since we shared anything new here. We have some very exciting news to share: Eyagi Productions is branching out to a new medium of storytelling! During the pandemic, YooRa was busy finishing her education at VFS. Diving into a new medium gave her the opportunity to explore another form of storytelling while theatres were shut down.

We are very sad to announce that both of our highly anticipated and beloved shows are now postponed indefinitely. Although we had high hopes that we could make this happen in 2021, it was not a possibility. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us and cheered us on to even be able to dream this big - to even plan to produce these two shows was ambitious and exciting, and it wouldn't have been possible without your love and support. It has now been 2+ years, and we believe that it's time to regroup, re-strategize, and come back when the time is right and when it is completely safe to do so both for rehearsals and performances.

We are not done telling stories, though! Stay tuned for updates! We hope that we can come back with these two shows and other exciting projects very soon. Stay safe, friends!
