With the cold coming in and the darkness arriving sooner, we thought it would be a great time to host a Halloween-themed movie night fundraiser! All proceeds go toward keeping Enabling Arts open and the space accessible to community groups/ first-time organizers. Bring your own snacks and drinks, and join us for this night of classic spooky movies. We will be watching Night of the Living Dead (1968) & Nosferatu (1922). Will we see you there?

📝✨ We’re back with another iteration of this delightful storytelling event!

Join us for “And Then What Happened”, a prose-focused open mic where the audience gets to give valuable feedback and insights to the performers. This unique event provides a supportive space for writers to share their work and refine their craft through constructive feedback.

What to Expect:

☁️Diverse Storytelling: Experience a variety of narratives, from personal anecdotes to fictional tales.

☁️Audience Participation: After each reading, audience members will have the opportunity to provide written notes and observations, offering perspectives on delivery, content, and impact. These notes will be gifted to performers at the end of the reading. Further feedback is welcome with the performer’s consent.

☁️Community Connection: Connect with fellow writers and storytelling enthusiasts in a collaborative environment.

Whether you’re an emerging writer, a seasoned storyteller, or simply someone who enjoys listening to captivating tales, “And Then What Happened” offers space for immersive stories and creativity. Join us and share your voice, or lend your ears, and be a part of fostering storytelling excellence!
