🎥 Unreal City Rewind

We sat down to write a caption for Bronze Medals

First idea: a joke about the Bronze Age Collapse…Is that a joke? Is there something there?

Second idea: listen to Brutalism for inspiration.

Forty minutes later, we’re convinced the album sounds like history itself (compliment) and have completely forgotten what we were supposed to be doing.

Anyway, this is easily one of our top three Bronze Medals posts of all time. 🥉

Tell us: what’s an album that completely transports you somewhere else? ⬇️

While you’re here, Unreal City Fest 2027 is already in the works. Stay tuned for updates, announcements, and all the good stuff. If you’re in a band and want to make a future UC Rewind post possible, applications are now open. Check the link in our bio.

The next, you’re being pulled into a churning sea of noise, distortion, and pure catharsis.

That’s the sundress experience.

Unreal City Fest is coming back for another iconic weekend of live music, local artists, and sick af vibes.

The UC team has been hard at work cooking up an epic third iteration and can’t wait to welcome you back to the legendary Russian Hall.

Never heard of Unreal City? We’re a 100% volunteer run, non-profit society based in Vancouver, BC. Our mission is to provide a bright spot in the seemingly never ending winter by bringing local bands together for a weekend of great music.

2027 dates will be announced soon.

BANDS!!! Keep your eyes peeled, applications will be opening soon.

Driving at night. Listening to Songs for Lovers. Because these Small Pleasures have no Limits.

We just named four Small Pleasures tracks in one sentence.

Can you do the same with your favourite band? Drop your sentence in the comments. We’ll see if the UC community can figure it out. ⬇️

Conduit proves that sometimes all you need is three friends and a lot of volume.

Last year’s set from Vancouver’s Conduit was a masterclass in metallic post-punk and hardcore urgency.

You’ve got one guitar, one bass, one drum kit. Who you calling and what are they playing? Tag your bandmates below. 🎵

More info on Unreal City 2027 coming soon.
