Hello all Handstanders!
I’m going to be borrowing a sensor pad from Joe Pratile. (www.VancouverMuscleDoctor). It’s an analytic device that has many sensors on it, usually used to see where people are putting weight on their feet. I want to use it to do some research on where people put weight on their hands in handstands
I’m looking for beginner, intermediate and advanced handstand people. Also, different paths, such as hip hop, “acro”, gymnastics, and circus, I only have the pad Monday and Tuesday, and Sunday evening (Nov. 1st, 2nd& 3rd) , so I’ll be trying to jam pack the day as much as possible. I’m guessing 10 to 15 minutes per person.
I’d like to get as many people as possible, of all levels.. If you’re interested, let me know, and pass this on to others if you like, anybody interested can email me. ([email protected])
Also, if think of any movements, positions or drills that might give interesting results, please let me know, anything that you might have thought, “I wonder what’s happening when I do this…”
This hasn’t been done before, and the results will be publicly released, I hope the results will be useful.
Peter
