Bring back my door knocker!!!!

On Tuesday, July 23rd between 1-5pm the door knocker from my front door was pried off and stolen. It is one of a kind. I brought it back from Prague 13 years ago and it has been on my front door...

Today some very misguided individual stole the antique goat head doorknocker from the front door of Connacher House. This has been on the front door for the last 13 years and was brought back from Prague. It has no real value aside from sentimental. As with anything on on in this house, there is a protective curse on it that is activated upon theft. Regardless, I would like it back. If anyone sees this large (approx 8" in height!) doorknocker, please notify either this page or the police immediately. Case file is VA19-145715

As many of you know, I am about to lose my home so that a condo developer can make even more money.

This developer, Portliving is applying for a heritage designation to receive government incentives to build more and tear down one of the oldest recycling centers in Canada, because they do not want "poor people" in the neighbourhood.

Have you noticed a rise in car breakins and robberies?
That is the result of desperate people that have had everything taken from them and nothing else to lose!
With the loss of the Return It Depot in Mount Pleasant there will be a rise in crime.
Removing the recycling center will not get rid of the people, it will only push them to find other more desperate ways to make ends meet!

THIS IS CLASS WAR!

I know many of you have experienced similar circumstances.
Please write a quick letter to city council regarding "2. HERITAGE DESIGNATION: 2525 Carolina Street (The Carolina)" saying that you are OPPOSED to this designation and development.
