Pound of Flesh Theatre ...old plays, new pulse...

Pound of Flesh Theatre is a professional theatre company, founded in 2004 with the objective of producing alternative interpretations of classical stories. It has since gone on to create exciting productions, workshops, classes and opportunities for artists and audiences to engage with classical text and narrative. It holds a unique position in the Vancouver artistic community as the only company

mandated to explore classical stories as filtered through contemporary sensibilities. As such, through adaptation, re- imagining and re-evaluating PFT brings classical text and narrative to a new generation of audiences. Pound of Flesh Theatre Society is a non-profit organization under BC Societies and is a registered charity under the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency.
