Landon and Friends is excited to announce that we will be putting on ‘Strung Up: A New Puppet Musical’
We are looking for folks who are excited at the idea of getting to work with new material, and bring their voices and skills to the first cast recording and first staged reading of this new work.
Our timeline is…
Cast Recording: Rehearsals in April, recording happening first week of May over 2 sessions.
Staged Reading: Rehearsals in June/July/August, with two shows on the nights of August 27th and 28th.

For folks interested in CREW:
We are looking for a Stage Manager, as well as a Music Director who is comfortable leading a band and singers through new material. For folks interested in BAND:
We are looking for Drum Kit, Electric Guitar, Electric Bass, and Keys (If you have one of the above plus other instruments that you are proficient in, we’d love to know!). Please email us at [email protected] with a resume/relevant experience, as well as a short cover letter talking about why you’d like to work on a new musical.
And for folks interested in CAST:
Please email us at [email protected] and submit a 1-2 minute piece of a song that showcases your strengths as a performer as well as a short monologue or act of puppetry. No resume required. You can send just a general audition, but if any of our characters catch your eye, you can absolutely mention as such in your application.
Deadline for auditions is March 28 11:59PM.
Lastly, this is a show that has been written with gender diversity in mind. We would love to see folks of all genders submitting for this show, and if you are comfortable sharing that you identify in some way with trans, gender diverse, or intersex communities, please feel free to say as much in your email to us.
