A little mantra I have for myself as we watch people loose opportunities, jobs, safety, and even lives for daring to stand up for their neighbors and Palestinians.

I have been very successfully molded to afraid of and a tendency towards bowing to perceived authority figures like the weird feeling of being an adult who is scared of “being in trouble.” It is programming I think a lot of of us have (especially white people) and is something I’m constantly working on myself to overcome. When a time comes for me that I have to risk personal security to do the right thing, I want to show up ready.

Exciting news! After many years of inquiries, I’m finally in the place in my art practice and life that I am able to facilitate workshops! I’ve launched a website loudlyinsecure.com or you can find in my bio which will be updated monthly. I have several options available-
Intro to Embroidery

Space is limited to what I can currently do in my art space, but I’ll be adding many more dates after January! I will of course still be working with other organizations to do workshops in other larger spaces as well and will announce those as they come!
