Submission for the "steamy" winter exhibit of Pearview online gallery. My theme is "submerged sanctuary" with subtitles of
1. Embracing self, captures confidence through vulnerability.
2. A view within- offers introspection.
3. Sensual shadows- celebrates intimacy.
Celebrating intimacy and self-acceptance within the comfort of the bath... As a disabled person, I celebrate my body through art, inviting viewers into my journey. The cold wax medium and rough textures created with palette knives symbolize my experience of chronic pain, highlighting the beauty found in struggle.
Ultimately, I challenge conventional notions of beauty, inviting others to reflect on their own journeys towards acceptance and empowerment.
