Janika Ekdahl Creative Janika was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada. Having grown up in such beautiful surroundings, she has developed a deep love of the outdoors.

This is reflected clearly in her work. She received her first camera when she was six years old, a Polaroid. She's been taking pictures ever since.

One of the struggles I have with fluid art is that when I think I'm done and I have the work looking how I want, the piece will tell me otherwise. I leave it to dry, but it changes through out that process. Sometimes I don't like the results, but sometimes (like with this piece)... Magic happens.
