We’re thrilled to be partnering with PoMo Arts again this year to bring back INTRO TO STORYTELLING 🌈. On June 27, step into the world of personal storytelling with award-winning actor, playwright, comedian and facilitator Deborah Williams!!!! Open to 2SLGBTQI+ youth and allies (12-19yrs) this FREE creative session invites youth to tell their stories and find their own voice in a relaxed and supportive environment. Q***R YOUTH ARE THE FUTURE!!!! 🔊❤️🌈 This is a free event, but registration is required. Link in bioooooo!!

Happy World Theatre Day! 🎉

At Zee Zee, we truly believe that theatre can change hearts, minds and lives.

From audience members seeing themselves represented onstage, to young students finding their voice in their school's drama club, to skilled technicians, design wizards, to actors who wear their heart on their sleeve every single night. We have seen it first hand.

We are so proud to be part of a dynamic, electric and exciting community of local theatre companies in Vancouver. There is such high quality work happening in this city, all year round.

If you can, we encourage you to go see a show by a company that's new to you, donate if you can, whether that's means or your time. You never know what magic you might find. 💥

Happy 2026!! 🎉

Okay, yes, we know that January is technically almost over and it might be a little late to keep saying "happy new year" in emails, but we've been too hard at work creating Q***r magic to be posting. 😉

We are really excited for what's to come this year. 2026 is going to be HUGE. We have some big things brewing that we CANNOT wait to share with you all soon, so stay tuned.

We don’t have to tell you that times are hard for our community.

Governing bodies continue to use 2SLGBTQI+ bodies, joy and existence as hateful campaign points. But, we will continue to fight. We will continue to celebrate 2SLGBTQI+ joy. We will continue to tell the stories of our ancestors who fought so we could be where we are today, and uplift the voices of the young people who will continue this work in the future.

Supporting Zee Zee is supporting 2SLGBTQI+ stories, futures, and joy. All donations will be matched until December 31. 🌈❤️

We have been SO overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from everyone that we felt like we needed to give a little back. ❤️

🎉 So, here it is:

Whoever gives the largest donation during the matching campaign (Oct 1 - Dec 31) will receive a DELICIOUS freshly baked, home-made sourdough loaf, delivered by a Zee Zee team member to your house!

Whoever gives the final donation that tips us over the $9k mark (no matter how small, or BIG that amount is) will receive an EXCLUSIVE at-home plant consultation with our resident plant expert, Cameron Mackenzie.

*We're sorry, but you do have to live in Metro Vancouver to qualify for these … though we could be convinced to drive to the Valley if we really like you ;)
