We are about supporting dancers and recognizing their potential both as artists and as people. Training the whole person starts with acknowledging where each individual is at, and unlocking a training path to grow their full potential. With a focus on Contemporary and Modern techniques, and an intention to instill a love of learning, dancers are taught how to build on their foundational training and are challenged to leave their comfort zone through class exploration and performance opportunities.

Ever wonder why we ask you to follow our dress code for class?

At The Landing, we Dance with Purpose, and our dress code is one of the simplest ways we put that purpose into practice. And here’s the heart of it:

CLEAR LINES let teachers see your alignment, form, and technique, so corrections are precise and make a real difference.

A UNIFORM HELPS YOU LOCK IN. Putting it on is a ritual that tells your body and mind it’s time to work.

DISCIPLINE TRAVELS. Showing up prepared and consistent is a skill that carries into school, work, and life.

WHEN YOU FEEL PREPARED, YOU FEEL CONFIDENT. Look good, feel good.

This isn’t about everyone looking the same. It’s about giving every dancer the clearest path to growth, and it’s one of the ways we support our dancers as artists and people.

🚨 CALLING ALL LDC DESIGNERS! 🚨

We are excited to be creating an official Chapter 19 LDC Aerial Shirt, created by our aerialists for our aerialists. As dancers learn new skills, we strongly encourage them to wear a black long-sleeved shirt in class anytime they would like an extra layer of protection from silk burns. This new shirt design will be a nice addition to your collection and could potentially be designed by YOU!

We invite our dancers to wear orange to the studio on September 29 as we recognize Orange Shirt Day together.

The studio will be closed September 30 in observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, as we honour Residential School Survivors, their families and communities, and remember the children who never returned home.

The new season is HERE and we are thrilled to be gathering our team of competition dancers to join us on September 13th for our annual kick-off meeting.

This is our chance to all come tougher, get inspired, share goals, and set the tone & intention for an unforgettable year of growth and performance. Are you ready to get energized for the season?
