Catch The Undeniable Accusations of Red Cadmium Light before it closes on May 3rd!

Here’s what the reviews are saying:
“Drew Hayden Taylor’s latest play unfolds as a drama with tinges of comedy, taking on the realities of pretendianism and the tensions that surface when an uncomfortable truth is put up against different ways of seeing it.”
- Stir Vancouver

“The play’s unwavering focus on this latest appropriation of Native resources, cultural capital and identity is an important corrective for those who might otherwise shrug it off and ask why it even matters... We watch and listen to a powerful expression of the damage artistic and human counterfeiting can wreak.”
- Vancouverplays

“This is a must-see production at the Firehall. The brilliant and punchy script tackles all those awkward questions about Indigenous identity. Anita Wittenberg is luminous as “Nazhi”, and is well supported by the other 2 actors. Truth, lies, and lots of laughs - with a dark underbelly. Killer last line! Don’t miss it!

ENEMY LINES | MAY 6 - MAY 9

Enemy Lines is a live dance performance that looks at how a climate of fear led to the incarceration of Japanese Canadians. The performance elucidates our hardwired need for each other, and the way that disconnection can hinder our growth.

Enemy Lines is a tender reminder of the fractures of our collective past and the possibilities for our shared future.
