From the 🤩2026 - Sondervig Sand Sculpture Festival🤩🇩🇰, and Tales of 1001 Arabian Nights.

I bring you…

“The Hash Eater” (summary of the tale below) 😄😎

A once-wealthy man squandered all his money on pleasures until he became a beggar. One day, after injuring his finger, he wandered into an empty bathhouse. There, he took some hashish, which caused him to hallucinate vividly. In his drugged state, he imagined himself as an important nobleman being attended by servants, bathed, perfumed, and treated with luxury fit for a vizier. He fully immersed himself in this illusion, enjoying the imagined comfort and status.

However, his dream abruptly ended when he was awakened by others in the bathhouse. He found himself lying naked and exposed, surrounded by people laughing at him. Realizing it had all been a hallucination caused by the hashish, he felt humiliated as the crowd mocked and beat him.

“The story highlights the dangers of indulgence and illusion, showing how fleeting pleasure can lead to embarrassment and suffering.”

😃 Had a great time Carving ‘Bowser (King of the Koopas) and Koopa Troopa’, for Sandstorm Events in Australia. This was part of a 60 ton sculpture for Nintendo’s new movie, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie 😀😎
