~ FACULTY ANNOUNCEMENT ~
Reforming Art is excited to announce JUSTINE FRASER as our first faculty member, for RAP’s upcoming workshop events.
Justine is the Artistic Director of Reforming Art Productions. She founded RAP to create a platform for youth to further explore their passions and artistic curiosities in a safe, nurturing, and professional space.
As a professional dance artist, Justine danced soloist roles with Ballet Jorgen Canada, where she toured and performed on both international and national stages. During her time at BJC, Justine had the opportunity to also work with Danza Corpus Cuba, Les Petit Ballet, Mercedes Bernardez and Jose Carret. She returned to Vancouver in 2013, where she continued to explore herself as a contemporary ballet dancer, working with artists and companies such as BALLET X (Philadelphia), Coastal City Ballet, Wen Wei Wang, while also performing works by Joshua Beamish, Mathew Neenan, and Joel Sturrock.
Justine now spends her time, further developing youth creative projects through Reforming Art. She is currently an independent choreographer, accredited teacher, and freelance dance artist, working with various schools, pre-professional youth companies, and post graduate programs, internationally and throughout Canada.
Join her on December 21st and December 28th - 29th for both INT/ADVANCED LEVEL Contemporary Ballet Workshops. All dancers can expect to receive a full technical class, improvisational techniques, and the opportunity to learn original repertoire! In addition to her classes, Justine will also be facilitating various mentorship activities for all attending participants.
