A new home deserves a floor that's built to last from day one.
We recently completed Jay's 2-car garage in Surrey, finished with our Cabin Fever flake system. Even though this was a brand-new home, there was still a lot of work required before we could install the coating.
One thing many homeowners don't realize is that new concrete doesn't always mean ready for coatings.
This garage required extensive hand grinding around the edges, corners, and tight areas to ensure every inch of the concrete was properly prepared. That extra effort is what creates a strong mechanical bond and helps prevent coating failures down the road.
It's one of those details most people will never notice—but it's one of the most important parts of the entire project.
Project details:
🔹 Full diamond grinding & surface preparation
🔹 Extensive hand grinding for complete surface profiling
🔹 Edge and corner preparation for maximum adhesion
🔹 Cabin Fever full flake broadcast
🔹 Polyaspartic clear top coat for long-lasting durability
At Prime Choice Flooring, we believe preparation is everything. We never cut corners—especially on a brand-new home where the goal is to install a floor that will perform beautifully for years to come.
Make sure to check the before, mid-process, and after photos to see how much preparation goes into creating a professional garage floor.
