To help you read the fine print: "This is a personal invitation for you to enjoy our summer shows every Monday, Wednesday & Friday night, following our opening night, Saturday June 10th 'til Exhibition time, August 19th [1956]." "The Kitsilano Chamber of Commerce welcomes you to the Kitsilano Showboat where over 3,000 men, women and children entertain and perform without charge. In over 50 free Summer Concerts annually at beautiful Kitsilano Beach. Programmes started in 1935, and attract thousands each year."

There is lots going on at the Old Hastings Mill Store Museum this month, just down the road from us, 1575 Alma Street at Point Grey Road.
Did you know the Museum building survived the Great Fire of 1886 and was moved to its current location by barge in 1930, five years before Kitsilano Showboat was established?

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those impacted by the tragedy in Tumbler Ridge SD59.

This has affected the lives of so many people especially the students, parents, staff, survivors and community members.

In the next few days, weeks months and years please never forget to show your support for Tumbler Ridge.

I was down at the Kitsilano Showboat to check that everything was OK and noticed that our famous sign was missing the Showboat part. I assume it is damage from the recent wind storms. If anyone finds it or knows it’s whereabouts please let us know.
