A love note to Cutch - a beautiful source of colourfast shades of cinnamon, clove, warm earthy browns, camel tones, and deeper chocolate shades depending on mordants and modifiers as it is very high in tannins. It is a concentrated extract made from the heartwood of the catechu tree, most commonly Acacia catechu.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Cutch is harvested from steeping and boiling the wood of the Acacia catechu tree in hot water until a syrupy liquid emerges. This is dried and then ground into powder. Cutch is common to most parts of India, Burma, Indonesia and Peru.

Our new ATLAS Pant has arrived ! This new pant is a balance of ease and structure. Designed with a high-rise waist, relaxed fit, and curved barrel leg, it creates a soft sculptural, timeless silhouette. A seam below the knee gives the trouser its distinctive form.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What makes this pant truly special is the cloth itself. Unlike industrial denim woven by machines at high speed, our handwoven denim is created slowly, one length at a time, by skilled village weavers in South India. The fabric carries the subtle variations, texture, and character that only human hands can impart. Each thread is organized, warped and woven, creating a denim with remarkable depth, softness, and life—qualities that become even more beautiful with wear.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The cotton is either in its natural state with tiny flecks of the plant material throughout, or naturally dyed with tannins and iron water—then handwoven by village weavers in Andhra Pradesh and Telengana whose knowledge of weaving has been passed down through generations. The result is a cloth that feels grounded and enduring: denim reimagined through the hands of traditional craftsmanship.

Our classic silhouettes in new cloth. These garments are rooted in a slower way of making clothes—one shaped through time spent on the road in India, sitting with weavers, dyers, and artisan families. We source our cloth directly from small producers and communities, building relationships that continue over many, many years. The handwoven cloth in this collection carries these stories within them: the rhythm of the loom, the nuance of natural fibres and plant dyes, the touch of many hands. We make clothing thoughtfully, collaboratively, and on a human scale.
