Digesting the 100,000th Step
Artwork File: loveless_grid_synthesis.mov
An exploration of contemporary urban psychogeography, this media work leverages the unheeded metrics of downtown Vancouver, where between 84,000 and 100,000 daily pedestrian movements pass by entirely unnoticed.

Operating through the framework of Antropofagia, the piece devours these cold, mathematical surveillance statistics, digesting and re-synthesizing raw data into a digital aesthetic.

In loveless_grid_synthesis.mov, the heavy texture of organic oil paint clashes violently with a high-frequency infection of binary code, utilizing a visceral, glitch style.

The city’s physical architecture is swallowed and trapped entirely within the iris, forcing the eye to process a beautiful, loveless void. It is a stark post-digital landscape where humanity unconsciously authors a code it never gets to read.

Neon Datamosaic: Algorithmic Gaze

A self-portrait born from digital digestion. Algorithmic Gaze uses the principles of Neo-Antropofagia to consume and reassemble my personal memories through algorithmic prompts.

The result is a fractured consciousness—a reflection of how our digital era processes, warps, and spits back human intimacy. 👁️🔌
