There’s a time for patios (it’s called summer), and a time for settling into the theatre for exceptional opera experiences (the other three seasons!). 🌞

Single tickets are on sale now for Tosca, The Barber of Seville, and La Traviata.

Summer now, opera later. Squirrel away something special for when autumn comes: Tosca opens the season on October 24, followed by The Barber of Seville in February, and La Traviata in April and May. ☀️

Opera, but make it al fresco. 🌿🎶

This Wednesday, July 29, our friends at UBC Opera and UBC Inspired are taking the arias outdoors for a free, family-friendly afternoon at Thunderbird Commons.

Pack a blanket, bring your favourite people, and enjoy pre-show activities from 4:00 p.m. before the UBC Opera Ensemble performs from 5:30–6:30 p.m. ☀️🧺

The event runs from 4:00–7:00 p.m. Admission is free and no tickets are required. Capacity is limited, so arrive early.
