Ham Media Ltd. BC License BC1259083 Announces Formation and New Film Project “Wings of the Heart”
Red Deer, Alberta, NOV 18/2024– Ham Media Ltd. is excited to announce its official formation and the upcoming production of its debut film project, Wings of the Heart. In cooperation with marganized communities and other such production companies that are similar in mission. The media company, founded by Colin R. Mah, a Métis entrepreneur and filmmaker, aims to bring powerful biographical and Indigenous-themed stories to the forefront of the entertainment world.
With a mission to showcase untold stories from the biopic community, Ham Media Ltd. is committed to providing opportunities for marginalized voices, particularly within Indigenous communities. The company’s primary focus will be creating content that is authentic, creative, and unbiased, offering audiences the opportunity to engage with compelling narratives that reflect the true experiences of diverse individuals.

Wings of the Heart, the company’s inaugural film, will follow the life of Elliot, a determined businessman who finds himself at a crossroads after a series of personal and professional struggles. Set against the backdrop of both urban and rural settings, the film explores themes of resilience, love, and reconciliation, with a strong emphasis on family and cultural identity. The film will also highlight important Indigenous perspectives, with a commitment to authenticity both on and off-screen.
Joining Colin in the creation of Wings of the Heart is award-winning writer Ian Ferguson, who will be working as a producer and contributing to the screenplay. Ferguson brings a wealth of experience to the project and will play a key role in ensuring the story resonates with audiences and stays true to the heart of its message.
