Gentle Force, 2023, explores the force in motion of my sensory interactions of body and mind. The ups/downs and thinness/thickness correlate with the gentleness navigating within me, embracing the asymmetry and challenging the form (body) and its potential. The never-ending potency that desires the freedom to affect others, expect acknowledgment and seek identity. This gentle force is powerful and it transcends from introspection to sensory embodiment with a clear view of abstract feelings. Gentle Force is fragile, although it stands tall, and architectural, demonstrating its ability to play with performativity. On the inside there is a dance of inert explorations, the gentleness transits from protection to offering vulnerabilities.

Unprotected Flourish, 2023, talks about transforming personal walls into fluid growth. The work explores my discoveries of protective measures against unnecessary battles - a piece transforming a barrier into a consistent, evolving, and dynamic but steady organism. The elements navigate the intuitive fragility, curvilinear fluidity, and smoothness of a being learning to correlate with the rigid walls. I often explore my introspective mind to outline gentle vulnerabilities. Unprotected Flourish results from a fight between coping skills and the ability to be open to receiving and disseminating kind appreciation. The protection is efficient but helpless, what it blooms is the necessity of not needing it. Like a concrete flourished wall in an urban city, I embodied the feeling of needing to be overgrown.

Self-Affection, 2023, depicts the acceptance of giving affection to oneself. The piece displays the struggle to approach kindness as a personal strength. The (clay)body fights within itself searching for a different facade without losing the sturdiness of its grounds. Feelings grounded in trauma and fear evolve into a slow process of healing. The body is heavy with blooming growth desperately looking for open breaches and outgrowing. Self-Affection guides the spectator to the playfulness, engagement, and curiosity of the non-destructive flourished burst. Exploring motifs of fragility and fluidity, the work converses with the lack of ability to be affectionate and being overpowered by the creation of inner ways to reach self-affection.
