Tired of the same old Friday Night? Own the floor -- try Modern Square Dancing on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Kennedy Hall, 8870 - 120 Street, Surrey, BC, from 7:30 to 9:30 pm, with doors opening at 7:00 pm.

Give modern square dancing a go—it's a fun, energetic, social experience that lets you move to familiar tunes and connect with others in groups of eight.

You don't need any dance experience, partner, or special attire. A professional instructor/caller will guide you. Bring friends, make it a date, or come solo - all are welcome (ages 10 and up).

Wear comfortable shoes with non-marking soles.

We had a great time at our Tuesday night season windup party at the Chilliwack Rhythm Reelers Square and Round Dance Club and welcomed graduates from our Mainstream class. Don't forget to look dancing opportunities over the summer.

It was a pleasure to call for the Yakima Memorial Day Plus Weekend again this year. Thanks to all the dancers for attending and bringing the fun to weekend especially the brave ones that requested and danced to this fun singer. Thanks for the video Lisa.

We had a wonderful time at the Yakima Memorial Day PLUS weekend in Moxee. Thank you to all the dancers who attended and the local team of dedicated folks from the Yakima Gateswingers who hosted this event. We had fun dancing and visiting with everyone, and working with Randy Preskitt and Marie Berkland-Preskitt, and look forward to next year.

We're having a party at Moxee Washington.
