Music Without Borders shines a spotlight on the creative contributions of Arab women through "Hanim | هانم", a special concert celebrating iconic Arab women in music like Umm Kulthum, Asmahan, Fairouz, Sabah, Shadia, Warda, Mayada El Hennawy, and others. The Arab world has a rich musical heritage that is in no small part due to its women singers. Music Direction by Gaby Al Botros.

Dear ECCS-BC Members,

The Egyptian Arabic School (EAS) is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the new school term!

Our school term starts on 14th of September 2024 and ends on 25th of January 2025.

Classes will be held at Mount Pleasant Neighborhood House at

from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm every Saturday.

The school fees are as follows: First child $ 275, siblings $ 250, plus first time registration $ 25, and books $ 50. Registration is a one-time payment per child, and books may be used for more than one term.

شاركت الجمعية المصرية في عمل التماس بخصوص تداعيات قرار الفيزا الصادر العام الماضي للمصريين المقيمين بكندا!
وهذا إلتماس مقدم إلي فخامة الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي، هدفه هو توقيع أكبر عدد من الكنديين المصريين المتضررين من قرار الفيزا الجديد عند سفرهم إلي مصر، والمطالبة بإلغاء هذا القرار.
يرجي من جميع المتضررين نشره لأكبر عدد من الجالية المصرية حتي يلقى الصدد المطلوب.
المدة المتاحة لملىء هذه الإستمارة إسبوعين تبدأ من اليوم، الإثنين ٣ يونيو إلى الإثنين ١٧ يونيو، و من ثم سيتم تسليمه لسعادة السفير أحمد حافظ سفير مصر في كندا وذلك لاتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة.

If you are joining our gathering on Sunday at Peace Arch, please take into consideration that Southbound (from Richmond to Delta) slow lane in Massey Tunnel will be closed due to maintenance. Please use Hwy 91 instead.
