A pivotal figure in the esteemed indie ensemble The Shilohs during his twenties, he played a significant role in crafting the band’s repertoire, contributing to multiple albums and other releases. The Shilohs, renowned for their retro pop vibe, significantly influenced Johnny’s musical odyssey. Following his departure from The Shilohs, Johnny’s solo career soared with the well-received Johnny EP, a collaboration with the nostalgic and ethereal pop group Tennis, featuring Pat Riley and Alaina Moore.
In 2021, Johnny began producing music for fellow artists and has since engaged in fruitful collaborations with a diverse range of musicians, many of whom continue to eagerly seek his expertise for subsequent projects. Particularly noteworthy are his partnerships with Sam Blasucci (Mapache), Sarah Jane Scouten, Ponytails, and STACEY, demonstrating a fusion of diversity and meticulous artistry that embodies his distinctive musical flair.
