Working on the first few cards for my Signs & Symbols Artspiration deck.

These are just the beginning so it’s progress, not perfection.

I’m exploring how everyday marks, shapes and simple motifs can carry meaning, spark creativity or simply offer a moment of stillness.

These first three are soft, symbolic and unfolding slowly.

I’m letting the style and mood emerge naturally, one card at a time.

Can’t wait to see how this deck grows over the year.

Sigils as Art.

Weave Magic and Meaning.

There’s something deeply powerful in slowing down and sketching intention.

My sigils post reminds us that sigils aren’t just symbols, instead they’re intention made visible.

By turning your hopes, dreams, or affirmations into glyphs, they become a quiet spell woven into your sketchbook, canvas, or journal.

It’s art that reaches deeper than aesthetics—it feels.

Carve out a personal mantra, fold a secret sigil beneath layers of paint, or simply doodle your heart’s intention in a corner and you’re creating a bridge between thought and form.

I gently urge you to let your creativity guide you, trust your intuition and let these tiny symbols hum beneath the surface.

Bonus: This style of meditative mark-making brings sincerity to your every brushstroke, but rather it’s art, self-care and ritual rolled into one.

Give it a try: sketch your intention, simplify it into shapes, pop it into your next piece—and let it whisper purpose long after the work is done.

As a hobby artist, using a CONCERTINA SKETCHBOOK is a way to s-t-r-e-t-c-h your creative abilities and build your arty skills.

This time I’ve done a long drawing of the Vancouver seawall with all the prominent travel beauty spots to visit.

It starts with pencil, then black pen, then colored inks, then colored pencils and markers.

What will you draw in your concertina sketchbook?
