What happens when the body stops pretending and starts remembering?

Kiss The Stormy Sky is coming to Vancouver as part of the inaugural Bring Your Own Body festival by Odd Meridian Arts from July 17-20, 2025. Created and performed by Sid Ryan Eilers
(they/them), this solo dance-theatre work blurs both myth and memory, tracing generations of Q***r ancestry through choreography, spoken text, vivid projection, and a lush original score composed by Shn Shn (she/they). Learn more at
eilersdancetheatre.com/kiss-the-stormy-sky!

WORKSHOP: Q***R CONSCIOUS MOVING BODIES

Sid is also facilitating a FREE workshop with our friends Danielle Denichaud and Shannon Kitchings, for trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse participants to explore embodiment and creative expression rooted in Conscious Bodies Methodology – July 15 5:30pm-7pm at The Dance Centre! Email [email protected] to RSVP!

Q***r Conscious Moving Bodies is co-produced by Odd Meridian Arts and The Dance Centre.

ID: This show poster for EILERS Dance Theatre’s KISS THE STORMY SKY features eight pictures of Sid, all in different costumes and channeling different energies. Along the top of the poster is the quote “Sid Ryan Eilers has created a mesmerizing journey through time and identity, blending dance, music and theatre into a masterpiece of storytelling.” Beneath the poster is all the show information: the show is happening July 17-20 at 7pm at Odd Meridian Arts’ cultural space, Morrow and #204 Richards St Vancouver, BC.
