We’re honestly tired of keeping secrets from you all 😭

Yesterday, the legendary made a surprise appearance at 5X Fest and was honoured by with a special piece commemorating over 30 years of Panjabi artistry, legacy, and impact. The room was full of love, reflection, and stories that reminded us just how much Jazzy B has done for the culture, community and putting Surrey on the map.

We had so many incredible conversations throughout the night, but this is one we had to share right away.

When asked about his advice for future generations of artists, he said his advice is the same as he has for his own kids. As a father, Jazzy B shared that more than anything, he just wants to see his kids follow their hearts, pursue their dreams, and stay humble through it all. He spoke openly about how his son has sometimes felt the pressure of following in the footsteps of one of the most iconic Panjabi artists of all time, but that he’s always encouraged him to carve out his own lane and create his own pathway. And sometimes, things naturally align.

In a true , Jazzy B revealed that his very first song with his son, up-and-coming artist , is officially dropping tonight!

The Crown Prince of Bhangra has opened doors for so many artists across generations, and now we’re witnessing a beautiful full-circle chapter unfold in real time.

5X Fest has always been a space that uplifts emerging artists and creates room for the next generation to grow, connect, and dream bigger. We’re excited to watch a new generation of Panjabi kids continue to push boundaries and innovate the landscape of the Canadian music scene in ways the world has never seen before.

We’re incredibly grateful that Jazzy B chose to share this exciting news with the world through our platform, and we hope the community shows lillxjb the same love they’ve shown his father for over three decades 💛

This post may be black and white, but tonight’s event is going to be full colour.

For the past 15 years, has built a body of work recognized around the world for its ability to tell stories through art, identity, and emotion. Tonight, that journey arrives in Vancouver for a very special stop on the 15 Year World Tour, and we genuinely don’t think there’s ever been an experience quite like this at 5X Fest.

From the moment you walk into the space, you’ll be surrounded by powerful visuals, intimate conversation, and community in a way you’ve never experienced before. You’ll have the chance to explore the gallery up close, hear directly from Inkquisitive during a fireside chat and presentation, meet him in person throughout the evening, and even purchase exclusive pieces available only at the event.

The day starts strong and only keeps building as Surrey Civic Plaza transforms into a full day celebration of music, art, dance, food, and community.

From 2 PM onwards, come experience the magic of 5X Fest!

Not everything is planned. Some of the best art happens in real time.

We’re excited to welcome Nishant Jain, also known as , to the 5X Art Party this Friday!

Under his artistic persona as the Sneaky Artist, Jain sits in public spaces with a sketchbook and fountain pen, making secret drawings of city life. His art celebrates diversity in modern life and illustrates how complete strangers coexist.

What started as a detour from writer’s block turned into a full artistic journey rooted in curiosity, storytelling, and creative freedom. Now based in Vancouver, Nishant brings that same spirit into everything he creates and this time, you get to witness it live.

Throughout the night, he’ll be building a piece right in front of you. No filters, no edits. Just process, instinct, and a story unfolding in real time.
