Holiday Studio Clearance!

Available for pickup near the Oakridge area of Vancouver. The artwork continues onto the sides of the canvas; no framing is necessary. Protected with several coats of gloss varnish to protect and enhance iridescent and metallic paints. Colours are more vivid in real life.

2. Creative Spark. 8"x8"x0.75" $35 Violet, metallic turquoise, and iridescent yellow on blush.
3. Renewal. 10"x10"x0.75" $45 turquoise, emerald, metallic gold, and green/gold duochrome on white.

Holiday Studio Clearance!

1. Faerie Fete. In a magical village, in a faraway land, the faeries gather for a celebration. They feast on pixie pears and honey cakes, get drunk on nectar, and dance throughout the day and late into the night. Magenta, violet, and metallic cobalt dance on white and Naples yellow split canvas.
2. Glint. Dreams of lazy days on the water with the sunlight reflecting off gentle ripples. Metallic copper and gold on deep blue-green shades.
3. Mood. I was originally going to add to this one, but it has such a vibe that the more I looked at it, I couldn't bring myself to alter it. Shades of metallic, iridescent, and matte violet.
4. Bluem. Not quite the blues, an abstract floral design in blues and greens with a hint of iridescence.
5. Reef. One of my favourites. These colours played so beautifully together they inspired a larger piece that's now hanging in my bedroom. Intense metallic copper, gold, and green along with deeper blues on a teal background.

I'll let you in on a little secret. Any shade of teal is my favourite colour. It feels simultaneously soothing and luxurious, contemplative, and sometimes mysterious. In its embrace, I feel at home. I feel...me. The metallic deep teal is a custom mix to add balance and depth to the brighter cobalt-violet contrast.

Itty bitty baby bloom. 4x4 acrylic on canvas. Metallic cobalt, gold, deep teal, and pearl white will make this baby shine. Once cured, it will be protected with several coats of gloss varnish. DM for more information.

This is the first of several paintings I did this weekend, and I love them all! I can hardly wait until this one is cured. It's got so much shimmer, it's going to look amazing with a glossy coat. Iridescent acrylics on 12"x12" cradled birch. DM me for sales inquiries.
