ELIAS LAMSON: THE HARDWORKING POJULU YOUTH DREAMING BIG FOR LOKA WEST

In a time when many young people are losing hope, one Pojulu son is proving that hard work and vision still matter.

Meet Elias, one of the hardworking Pojulu youths and a proud finalist in the School of Public Health, University of Juba. From the lecture halls of Juba to the villages of Loka, Elias has carried one dream in his heart to give back to his people.

Coming from Loka West, Lainya County, Elias Lamson has seen the challenges his community faces every day mothers walking long distances to reach a clinic, children dying from preventable diseases, and elders lacking proper medical care.

That is why his aim is clear and big: To build a big, modern health care center in Loka West.

This will not be just a building. For Elias, it will be a center of hope — where every Pojulu child can get vaccinated, every mother can deliver safely, and every family can get quality healthcare without traveling far to Juba or Yei.

"Public Health taught me that prevention is better than cure, but my people in Loka West need both. My dream is to build a health center that belongs to the people and serves the people," says Elias.

As a finalist at the University of Juba, Elias represents the best of Pojulu youth educated, humble, hardworking, and community-driven. He is a role model to many young boys and girls in Lainya who want to go to school and come back to develop their home.

The journey to build a health center is not easy, but with God, with education, and with the support of the Pojulu community and well-wishers, Elias believes it is possible.

Let us support our son. Loka West deserves better healthcare, and Elias is ready to lead that change.
