HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! It’s here! Tonight is the last day to tour the Haunt (6-9pm) and the Lacombe Food Bank donations will be delivered tomorrow morning.

It’s been such a busy 3 nights so far that we really haven’t gotten many pics with our volunteers! We have had members of Lacombe Fire Department and their families volunteer their time in the Haunt, Lacombe Dental Clinic contributing towards an awesome giveaway and collecting donations, Moe's Pizza Co. feeding our volunteers, the BEST neighbors and members of our families helping to scare, clean up, carry and store donations and tag us out so we can get our kids to bed somewhat on time 😅, and our community who is truly showing up with donations to the Food Bank. We are INCREDIBLY grateful for all of you!

Costume changes, coffin changes, weather changes, facade changes, volunteer changes… There have been a lot of changes over the years but the things that remain constant are our appreciation for the community and our goal to give back to it by generating donations for the Lacombe Food Bank! We do not charge admission, but please remember to bring a Food Bank donation if you’re able 🤡.

FAQ: Are there different levels of scary? Over the years we’ve heard rumours about ourselves that we offer different “levels” of scary. The haunt is the same path for everyone, no secret trap doors here! (Although that sounds cool 🤔). However, what we CAN adjust is this:

1. Full on version. Dark. You’re here for the thrill and want to be scared. Our volunteers intentionally attempt to scare you.
2. Medium. You’re nervous but don’t want to chicken out. You’ll do it in the dark, but please volunteers don’t jump out at me anywhere.
3. You want to participate but your littles are nervous and you don’t want them to not sleep for weeks (we get it, parents!). Lights on. No one will jump out. You walk through and can just look at the haunt without being too fearful.

Please remember our volunteers are people too! Over the years our nephew has proven to be a terrific little creeper!

FAQ: Is there an admission? No! Admission is free, we just ask that if you are able, please provide a Food Bank donation. Our donation “coffin” is already out and checked regularly. Donations are also being collected at Lacombe Dental Clinic until Halloween. Check out their page for details on their awesome Halloween giveaway! 🤡

Not sure what to donate? The Lacombe Food Bank suggests:

-juice boxes
-granola bars
-fruit cups
(all which are part of their school lunch kits they prepare)
-canned meat
-peanut butter
-canned fruit and veggies
-pasta

They’re open:
Tuesday 1-4pm
Wednesday 1-4pm
Thursday 6-8pm
Friday 1-3pm
